The Flexographic Technical Association (FTA), in cooperation with the Twin Cities Flexo Association (TCFA), will host a golf tournament on September 8, 2015 at the Bearpath Golf & Country Club in Eden Prairie, MN, USA, commemorating Gary Hilliard, a longtime friend and colleague of the flexographic printing industry. All net proceeds will go toward the Gary Hilliard Scholarship Fund.

The rate per golfer is $200 and includes cart, green fees, use of driving range, a sleeve of Bearpath golf balls and golf hat, prizes, box lunch and dinner reception. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team and runner up. Individual prizes will also be awarded for the longest drive, straightest drive and closest to the pin.

“This memorial outing marries together a number of things that were very important in Gary’s life,” says FTA president Mark Cisternino. “He loved his golf, with his perennial partner Ellen, had a strong affinity for the FTA and TCFA, cared deeply about education and lent his expertise to industry research performed by the Flexo Quality Consortium (FQC). What better way to honor Gary’s memory than by coming together for a fun day of golf, food and drink, all for the benefit of education.”
